It is that time again: time to look back on what happened at GiveSmart last month. As always, GiveSmart employees spend their time balancing work and play in an effort to create a great experience for you, while keeping up the friendly, team attitude that keeps us going.
GiveSmart employees do whatever it takes to make sure that your needs are best served. And some times that means we revamp roles and titles. That's what we've been doing the last couple of months, and you've probably seen that reflected in who you talk to and about what.
And while many people have been learning new things, we've also been helping at a lot of events. In May, GiveSmart got to help at over 150 different events - and those fundraisers went on to raise more than $14 million! We love seeing numbers like this because we know it means a lot of great causes are getting some much needed funding.
But as you know, even when we are busy helping all these great events and working hard to make everything great for you, we still know the importance of relaxing and having a little bit of fun.
In May, we decided to take a couple of hours and have our own Cinco de Mayo celebration. This celebration came in two parts:
1. A salsa competition (the dish, not the dancing. Though the dancing would have been cool too.)
2. A Fajita bar and Mexican side dish potluck.
Congrats to Nyree, who made the best salsa - though most people seemed to agree that the salsa was best when a few were mixed together. (Which also seemed to be a good analogy for the GiveSmart employees: we are all good on our own, but we are best as a team.)
So enjoy some of my pictures from the event(!):
Work Hard, Play Hard with Us
I've talked before about a couple of open jobs we have. We've still got some of them open. But now we've gotten a new one!
Are you looking for a new Sr. Account Executive position? Or do you know someone else who is?
If so, then you may want to consider checking out our open role. You can work anywhere in the country - but to participate in our salsa competitions, you'd need to be in Atlanta. And if you got the role, you'd be able to spend your time helping out all sorts of great organizations!
